After weeks of making a mini army of terracotta figures based on the Venus of Willendorf we set to work filling the first load in the kiln.
An hour and a half into the firing smoke started rising and the circuitry blew.
All we could do was wait.
The next day, with bated breath, we opened it up.
All the coils were still in place no black soot anywhere other than the heads of the outer figures.
Well, on the plus side none of the figures are effected, on the negative, me thinks a big bill's a coming. Damn. So much for smooth and seamless runnings of Lollokiki Sculpture 705!
